Two Sides of A Downward Dream
By Kagami Smile and Viviankrist
Viviankrist and Kagami Smile split in their cassette for Mouhoi. Viviankrist side is full of cloudy sky gazing in a dream, the leaves changing, soon to freeze over-a 20 minute meandering synth piece reminiscent of Karen Gwyer's work on Opal Tapes. Kagami Smile enters with two 10 minute tracks complementing Viviankrist piece. The first track a post midnight synth excursion followed by a shoegaze inspired drone.
Both sides recorded in the Winter-Midwest and Norway respectively. Brutal never ending winters and darkness in both regions, now released in the beautiful Fall.
